Renowned singer Ferdous Wahid has been admitted to the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka yesterday evening, his assistant Mosharraf told.
The prolific musician has been suffering from fever for a week and was tested for Covid-19 at Anwar Khan Modern Hospital in the capital. The test report came negative. However, the fever has not subsided and he was admitted to CMH as per doctor’s advice, his assistant said.
The CMH authorities have taken his sample again for Covid-19 test, Mosharraf also said, adding that Ferdous Wahid, 67, has been suffering from cardiac complications, high blood pressure and diabetes for several years.
The versatile singer has a career spanning over four decades and has a wide fan base across the country from all walks of lives.
