Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi will hold a meeting in December.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said it to reporters at his office on Monday.
He said the meeting will be held virtually if the coronavirus pandemic situation does not improve.
Dr Momen also said that all preparations have been taken to hold the Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting with India tomorrow. The meeting will focus on border issues, Rohingya crisis, Air Bubble agreement and water sharing of common rivers.
This will be short meeting and it may not be possible to discuss all the issues, he added.
