A Barguna court has fixed October 27 to deliver its verdict against juvenile 14 accused in sensational Rifat murder case.
Barguna Juvenile Court Judge Md Hafizur Rahman set the date on Wednesday after concluding the arguments of both groups.
State counsel Md Moastafizur Rahman Babul said the rest of the arguments in the case has ended today in presence of the 14 accused.
On September 30, six persons, including the victim’s wife Ayesha Siddika Minni, were given death penalty and four other accused were acquitted in the Rifat murder case.
Rifat Sharif, 22, was hacked to death by criminals in front of his wife Minni in broad daylight in Barguna town on June 26, 2019. The incident was caught on surveillance camera.
The victim’s father filed the murder case with Barguna Sadar Police Station on June 27, 2019.
