Kazi Monirul Islam wins Dhaka by-polls with AL ticket

Awami League candidate Md Kazi Monirul Islam Monu has won the by-polls to Dhaka-5.

The unofficial results of the election revealed this information on Saturday evening.

Earlier in the day, the voting began in the by-elections to Dhaka-5 and Naogaon-6 from 9:00am and continued till 5:00pm.

 

The electronic voting machines (EVMs) were used in both the constituencies.
