Bangladesh’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar Md. Jashim Uddin appreciated the examplary good deed of Mohammad Yasin by handing over a crest to him this morning at the Embassy of Bangladesh.
Recently, Mohammad Yasin, a Bangladeshi national earned huge admiration by assisting a helpless man in wheel chair cross the road. Mohammad Yasin parked his bike aside in the busy road when he saw a man helplessly trying to cross the road. He himself then pushed the wheel chair and helped him cross the road safely. A passerby took a video shot of this incident and shared it in the social media which instantly went viral. The local authority of Qatar has awarded Mohammand Yasin for displaying his civic responsibility and humanitarian gesture.
During the meeting with the Ambassador, Mohammad Yasin said that he did it spontaneously out of his civic sense and the sense of helping a fellow human being; not expecting any reward. He also said that he inculcatated this value from teachings of his parents.
Ambassador Md. Jashim Uddin urged the expatriate Bangladeshi nationals to get inspiration from the example of Mohammad Yasin and help project the positive image of Bangladesh in Qatar.
