Land Secretary Md. Muksodur Rahman Patwary said that 20 to 22 lakh mutation services yielded every year could be provided more quickly and efficiently if the coordination activities of land mutation and registration services were launched across the country. More than one crore people will directly benefit from this service every year. Land-related harassment of people will decrease.
Land Secretary Md. Muksodur Rahman Patwary made the remarks while addressing a meeting held at the conference room of the land ministry here on Tuesday.
At this time, the Land Secretary expressed his gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister for kindly approving the land mutation and registration coordination activities.
Describing Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury as a technology-oriented minister, the land secretary said, “Under his leadership, the land ministry is playing an important role in implementing the government’s vision 2021 and vision 2041.”
Senior officials of various levels of the land ministry attended the meeting held by following proper health rules, presided over by Land Secretary.
Note that yesterday, Monday, November 9, 2020, the cabinet approved the proposal of the land ministry of the Process of automated Mutation and Record correction after Registering the land with transparency through digital technology. The land mutation will be completed automatically within eight days after the completion of registration in this process, which is a joint initiative of Ministry of Land and Ministry of Law in collaboration with a2I. Now this work is going on in 17 Upazilas of the country. It will be launched across the country soon.
