The condition of BNP Standing Committee member, former minister and senior lawyer of the Supreme Court Barrister Moudud Ahmed has declined.
BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan revealed this information on Tuesday.
Shairul said a six-member medical board was formed headed by Prof Dr Shabuuddin Talukder at 2:00pm today following the deterioration of Moudud Ahmed’s health condition.
Moudud Ahmed’s wife Hasna Jasimuddin Moudud and Dr AZM Zahid Hossain of the BNP are already informed in this regard, he added.
Meanwhile, BNP senior secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir talked to the head of the medical board to learn about the present situation of Moudud Ahmed.
Barrister Moudud Ahmed was admitted to Evercare Hospital (former Apollo Hospitals) on December 29, 2020 after his illness. The senior BNP leader is currently undergoing treatment at the coronary care unit (CCU) of the hospital.
