Freedom fighter and actor Mujibur Rahman Dilu passed away at a city hospital on Tuesday morning.
He breathed his last around 6:00am while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in the capital.
He was suffering from multiple health problems, including lung infection. However, he was tested negative for Covid-19.
Dilu, who has been away from the limelight for a while, fell critically ill on January 12. He was eventually admitted to the ICU at United Hospital.
He was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome and fell into a coma in 2005. His condition gradually improved.
Dilu was lauded for his performance as Malu in the hit TV series, “Sangsaptak”.
