Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan, who is in the spotlight for criticising national board, will return back to Dhaka from USA tonight.
An official confirmed the development to Daily Sun on Monday adding that the all-rounder is expected to reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport though Qatar Airways at 2:00 AM.
Shakib took break from the ongoing tour of New Zealand as he wanted to be with his wife during the birth of their third child.
Shakib’s wife gave birth to the baby at a hospital in the US on the morning of March 15 (US time).
Earlier, Shakib Al Hasan and his wife have been blessed with another baby girl in April 24, 2020 they have another daughter named Alaina, who was also born in the USA six years ago.
On January 1, 2021, Shakib announced that he would become the father of the third child.
During the most part of 2020, Shakib stayed in the US. He went to the US right after he was handed a two-year ban by the ICC over alleged corruption.
The southpaw made a comeback to competitive cricket with the Bangabandhu T20 Cup last year. He also returned to international cricket with the West Indies tour at home early this year but was ruled out from the second Test due to injury.
