Bangladesh and Bhutan will hold high-level bilateral talks at the Prime Minister’s Office in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead the Bangladesh delegation while visiting Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering will lead his country at the talks.
Before the formal delegation-level talks, the two leaders will hold a tête-à-tête.
Sources said that a number of memorandums of understanding (MoU) and agreements are expected to be signed between the two neighbouring countries.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering will witness the signing of the MoUs.
Lotay Tshering arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday to join celebration of birth centenary of Bangabandhu and golden jubilee of Bangladesh liberation war.
