Family of BNP chief Khaleda Zia has applied to the government seeking permission to send her abroad for better treatment.
Having infected with coronavirus, the former prime minister is suffering from breathing and other complications.
Shamim Iskandar, younger brother of Khaleda Zia, handed an application to Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal Wednesday night.
Talking to the press, the home minister said he will send the application to the law ministry for necessary action.
The government will consider the application as per law, he added.

She is out of the jail following the government’s executive order which is extended.
